About Us

Here at Bethel Stables we teach primarily Saddle Seat. This discipline is a style of English riding that is used to show off high action horse breeds. We primarily use American Saddlebred Horses in our program because of the breeds amazing capabilities and personality. Many of our current lesson horses are rescues that were pulled from unfortunate situations. It is our pleasure to give these amazing horses a second chance and home where they will be cherished by all.

Bethel’s mission is to provide a lesson program that is flexible and allows riders to fulfill their horseback riding dreams. Whether that is to pursue a Saddle seat entirely or developing foundation skills that they can use towards other disciplines. We want to teach students how to be goal oriented and learn how to achieve those goals through their own efforts. We implement ministry into our programs and host events for the community. We love bringing families together and giving back to our community through festivals, farmers markets, and after school programs.

Pricing

Packages

  • Individual Lesson

    Single one-hour private lesson (30 minute ride time) with Instructor. Perfect for individuals who want to try out riding or are unable to fully commit to weekly lessons.


  • Package A

    Includes 2 one-hour private lessons (30 minute ride time per lesson) with Instructor. Can be booked anytime during the month. Ideal package for students with busy schedules that need flexibility.


  • Package B

    Includes 4 one-hour private lessons (30 minute ride time per lesson) once a week with Instructor. This package is great for students who want to commit to a specific day and time during the week.


  • Package C

    Package includes 8 one-hour private lessons (30 minute ride time per lesson) with Instructor. Ideal for individuals with multiple children or riders who would like to ride twice a week.


  • Birthday Parties

    3 hours and covers up to 15 riders (each additional rider is $10). All riders must sign liability forms and 4 years or older. $50 refundable clean up fee. $200 non refundable deposit to reserve day and time with remaining due 24 hours before the event.
    During School Year: All Birthdays are scheduled after 2:15pm on Saturdays.
    During Summer: Birthdays can be scheduled any day of the week except Sundays.


Please Note Lesson packages are billed on the first of every month. Lessons cannot be accumulated or transferred to the following month. If you are unable to attend a lesson, we ask that you reschedule before the end of the month for that package. For example, August Package only covers August dates. A 24-hour notice for cancellations is required, illness or emergencies are not penalized. Packages can be cancelled or adjusted at the end of every month before renewal. No refunds.   • What To Expect At Your Lesson

    Our goal is to help our students reach their full potential. Private lessons are one hour long and cover all the bases. We think it is important for every rider to know how to properly groom and tack up their horses, so that they can appreciate the effort that goes into caring for one. The riding portion of the lesson is approximately 30 minutes depending on the rider’s experience and stamina. During that time, riders will cover the basics and implement exercises based on their skill level. After the ride, students will lead their horses back to the barn to untack and care for them. Overtime, riders will learn to appreciate the process and all the work that goes into riding.
